Venue & travel

The Granite City, Energy Capital of Europe.

Fifty years ago oil was found offshore and Aberdeen became the home of the North Sea industry. Today it hosts the Energy Transition Zone, a new deep-water harbour and the offshore wind farm in Aberdeen Bay. It is the right place for this conversation.

Winter in Aberdeen

Pack a good coat. The welcome is warm.

Late January days are short and crisp: highs of around 6°C, with sunrise after 08:30. Everything on the programme is indoors or within a short walk, and coaches run between the venue and partner hotels.

Weather promise: if snow or storms disrupt travel, registered delegates can switch to virtual participation at no extra cost, and speakers can present remotely. See the terms.
Where to stay

Partner hotel rates are coming soon.

We are negotiating discounted rates for delegates at city-centre and Old Aberdeen hotels. Booking links will appear in your portal after registration, and we'll email you when they go live.
